How American is your 'American-made' vehicle?

GasBuddy Blog -- Buying a car from a U.S. based car maker is no guarantee of how "American" a car is these days, and neither is the percentage of American-made parts in the car if that car isn't assembled here... Even the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says there's no such thing as a 100 percent American car.

Nonetheless, since Congress passed the American Automobile Labeling Act in 1992, it has required cars to identify the percentage of U.S./Canadian parts; country of origin for the engine and transmission; and, country of assembly.

So for all who are interested, TheStreet.com has compiled a list of the 10 vehicles assembled in the U.S. that use the most U.S. and Canadian parts... and the results may surprise you!
