gvan: "'........Coordinating Research Council, an organization created and supported by the oil and auto industries.'
What other result would you expect from an organization supported by the oil industry?"
Perhaps, but the auto industry, despite frequent suggestions to the contrary, has no particular alliance to the oil industry - their concern is that their products are going to fail prematurely, and they will end up liable for safety-related repairs years after the fact for failures caused by materials - E15, for example, for which their vehicles weren't designed. It is well known ethanol is not compatible with many of the materials commonly used in vehicles for fuel storage and delivery, including rubber, aluminum, and some plastics.

Who will be found guilty the EPA or the gasoline dealers (or corn farmers) when this mess ends up in court?

Ban ethanol. While you're at it, ban fracking also.

Wish they would quit adding ethanol to gasoline so cars would be more fuel efficient.

Ran E-30 (my blend) for years on a 1994 Nissan Sentra- when the TRANNY blew at 318,000mi the engine was still hummming along! Tell me it hurts engines! Never had a bit of problems with the fuel system except a burned out injector, a normal mantanence item!

what were the results on automobiles designed to operate in the USA with our E15 and emissions standards and not some thingy imported from China that has been retrofitted to work here ? In other words, what vehicles were used in the expanded testing ?

So what do we do not drive our cars? That'll show them. We are at the mercy of a government that is indifferent to the comsumer and big buisness that only cares about profit.

New research shows additional damage from E15! What almost everybody has known for a long time now. The Cordinating Research Council (CRC) knows what they are talking about, the EPA on the other hand has no clue what they are doing to the citizens and vehicles of the US and making the rest of the country do what should NOT be done. Somebody has to stop this ethanol crap in gasoline, Sneeky certainly isn't going to do anything about it. NO FUEL FROM FOOD! NO *E-5, *E-10, *E-15 OR *E-100 –> ONLY 'E-0' fuel is Allowed! Drives vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high!
